Only a swab of the eyes from a vet would know for sure if it is pox. I've never had that with my domestic birds but have read that saline (like for contact lenses) can be gently swapped on the eyes, or colloidal silver solution. I would not use lemons, that is acidic and would burn. It could also be something called canker. Vitamin A and antibiotics from the vet would help as well.
I'd call him Bocelli, since roosters like to sing, and well... you know..
